Wow!! Another amazing week in La Canada sharing the love of Jesus!!  A team came several weeks ago and blessed so many people in this small community.

In the morning, they spent time doing work projects; pouring cement for the landing at the church steps and painting several houses in the community.

The afternoons were spent on VBS, crafts, games and loving on kids.

Monday evening we had a game night at El Ayudante.  It was so fun laughing and just having fun with all the kids and their moms. Soccer, volleyball, popcorn and juice. Later, many of the mom’s were saying how their kids had bugged them all day about ‘when the game night started’.  With smiles and laughter, there is no language barrier.

What a fun week of memories

Another night, the team spent an evening in La Canada doing a movie night. They watched planes and served a mountain of popcorn.

Other afternoons were filled with water filter checks up the mountain and a trip to the river. After coming back from the river,  there was talk about how they renamed the canal the ‘lazy river’ and jumping off of rocks into the cold river.
