SPIRITUAL
TRANSFORMATION

To grow committed followers of Christ

by meeting the needs of our community.

The first part of our mission statement is the

PRIMARY

purpose of why EA exists.

The second part is the “how” we complete the first – EA exists to share the tangible love of Christ to our communities. We are focused on the Spiritual impact we are having on our area!

Each program, project, or help that we complete is with the goal of using it as a means of growing committed followers of Christ.

Spiritual Impact may be hard to quantify, but we can testify that God is moving and that there are many growing into more committed followers of Christ through the intentional and directed efforts of EA.

ON CAMPUS

In Medical Care

Every patient that goes through the clinic spends time in Spiritual Care – where we pray over the patient, share the gospel with them, provide a Bible if needed, and encourage them to seek the Lord!  If a patient accepts Christ in the clinic, we connect them with their local church for follow-up.

In Education

Our tutors are passionate about the Spiritual life of our students! Every day all students in the LC pause their studies and spend 30 minutes in interactive devotional time with the tutors – looking up the truths of God’s Word together and how they can apply it to their lives.

In Pastoral & Church Care

We are equipping local pastors in a variety of ways – 5-8 days a year of theological and practical training, a 3-year inductive Bible study course for pastors, joint church services, conferences, mentorship, encouragement, and resource sharing that our pastors desperately need.

In Marriage Ministry

What better way to create disciples than to invest in the foundation of the family through a 7-week Bible-based marriage course offered multiple times a year?

OFF CAMPUS

Home Projects

Thanks to consistent involvement in the community, we are seeing families soften to the gospel and seek Him. We’re able to see this during the multiple visits needed to complete basic sanitation projects.

Small Groups

Through leadership committees and discipleship groups we hold in our communities, we’re teaching the truths of Scripture and seeing fruit due to the intimacy and longevity of relationships.

Support of the Local Church

Because we believe that the local church is where a believer should be growing, we support the local church to be that source of growth. We visit the churches, collaborate with church programs, and assist in projects they need help with.

PERSONAL GROWTH

Team Member

In 2023 we had over 380 volunteers come to serve with us. We hear countless testimonies from them of how they see and experience Jesus and grow in their faith each time they come.

EA Staff

We are making a Spiritual impact on our team of 50+ staff members through weekly devotions, staff trainings, and book studies. Our staff are maturing, and we see fruit!
