Team Timeline:
6-9 Months before your Life Changing Week of Ministry!
- Pray, Pray, Pray for your trip!
- Contact Tristan and Elizabeth Mohagen at: eamohagen@yahoo.com to check available dates and make initial contact.
- Secure your week for ministry by mailing a $250 deposit to:
El Ayudante, P.O. Box 152, Brownsville, TN 38012.
- Begin recruiting and selecting your team members. Have them secure their interest with a deposit to the team leader.
- Hold your first informational team meeting.
- Begin to make travel arrangements: flights, passports, vaccines. (Note: All passports must be at least 6 months before passports expire at date of travel or they will not be allowed to board the plane.)
- Develop a budget based on the ministry that you will be doing and a team member payment schedule.
- Begin fundraising for your trip!
3-6 months before your fabulous week of ministry:
- Continue to seek God in regards to the trip!
- Have each team member fill out the Release Form and Medical Form that has been sent to your team leader.
- Depending on what your ministry will be at El Ayudante, begin collecting supplies you will bring – medical, school supplies, sport equipment, hygiene etc. *As you collect supplies, consider what your luggage limit is per team member – some airlines only allow you one free bag and you must pay for the 2nd.
- Ensure that all team members are in the process of getting all necessary vaccines for the trip. *Note – some shots are in series and take a few spread out trips to the DR.
- Continue to fund raise and collect team money.
- Confirm all travel arrangements and ministry details with Tristan and Elizabeth Mohagen.
4-6 Weeks before your cutting edge ministry:
- Pray! Pray as individuals and as a team
- Continue to discuss details with the Mohagen’s regarding ministry plans.
- Finish collecting any necessary supplies you are bringing with you
- Have a phone conference with the Mohagen’s to discuss in detail the weeks plans and any concerns or questions you may have

3 Weeks before you share God’s love with the Honduran people!
Mail $500 per team member plus your ministry fees to:

Subtract $250 sent for deposit. If your team is staying in Honduras more than 7 nights, please add the additional fee discussed with Mohagen’s. Also, if team members fly separately from the group, there will be a fee of $100 to provide a driver and transportation for each additional trip to the airport.
